Koena Mitra’s dad, Vishwanath Mitra, has been admitted to Life Care Hospital in Kolkata with a serious kidney ailment. The girl visited him but was unable to spend much time with him due to her shooting commitment for ‘Anamika’. Then she has to go for two shows only after which will she be able to fulfil her family commitment. Though her producers have been co-operative and suggested that she takes off for a few days but Koena does not want to do it at the cost of her work.“I believe in commitment to my work. They (producers) will incur losses if I go mid-way. Anamika will be almost completed following the dubbing work. It would get unnecessarily delayed even if I waste a single day. No one is forcing me to do anything. They are infact being very understanding,” says Koena.

Katrina Kaif is finally dubbing her own lines and intends to continue doing so as she feels dubbing in one’s own voice adds to the performance. She had dubbed for Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Sarkar’ with her accent but now she has come a long way to synchronise her voice and personality and is happy with her dubbing in ‘Namaste London’ and ‘Apne’.Katrina is all praises for her directors although she admits both have different traits.
“A Vipul Shah production is different from a David Dhawan set-up, but I don’t think I ever retired to my van for either Namastey London or Partner. With Vipul, I go blah-blah all day long,” says Katrina.

Here is the charitable side of former Miss India World Diana Hayden who has teamed up with more than 100 of Hollywood’s most influential women to build homes for the needy and poor in Los Angeles. Her partners included actresses Jeanne Tripplehorn of “Big Love” fame, Julie Bowen (”Ed” and “Boston Legal”), Diane Farr (”Numbers”).The celebrities partnered with the Habitat for Humanity charitable organisation in Los Angeles for the one-day annual invitation-only event termed ‘Power Women, Power Tools’, to build homes in south Los Angeles at one of the build-sites for this year’s Jimmy Carter Work Project.The event was sponsored by Home Interiors Charitable Foundation, part of Home Interiors and Gifts, a direct seller of home decor accessories. The families will be able to move into their new homes later this year.
